This website is operated by Lyminge Historical Society. Lyminge Historical Society collect, use and are responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the General Data protection Regulations which apply across the European Union (including the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as controller of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We use the personal data you provide such as name, address, email address and preferences to facilitate transactional data, purchase information and technical data to operate the functions of this website. The website does not collect personal data from visitors, only those who leave comments or make purchases.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This information is not shared by us.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
